Music Class
We will be continuing your work with Peter and the Wolf. Today, I'd like you to use your imagination. I would like you to choose a character from the story. After you choose your character, you should think about their personality. I would like you to write a short story about the character's background/personality. For example, I might choose the Cat. I could say that the cat is a sly fellow. He always seems like he is up to something and plotting a way to stop Peter and the bird. You can develop your story however you'd like. I would like this to be a paragraph of 8 sentences (You can write more if you like. If you choose to write more, please separate into more than 1 paragraph). If you need to refresh your memory, please feel free to watch the video once again. You can scan the video as you need if you do not wish to re-watch in it's entirety.
Art Class
For today's art project, we are going to visit one of my favorite places. We are going to take a virtual trip to Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios. We are going to follow Disney Imagineer, Brian, as he guides us in a drawing of Winnie the Pooh.
What is an imagineer? An imagineer is a word that is brought to us by Walt Disney. It is a combination of imagination and engineer. Why? Well, an engineer is someone who designs, builds, or maintains different things. Many people in Disney do this, however, they all have to use their imagination to do their job.
Before you being, as always, I ask you to please watch the video in it's entirety before you begin. For this project you will need paper and color pencils (if you do not have color pencils, crayons will be fine as well). You will follow the imagineer to draw each step in the drawing of Winnie the Pooh. Please pause the video as you need. Please outline the different aspects of the drawing as the imagineer does in the video. Please do not go ahead. Follow the directions and do your best. Remember, I am not looking for perfection, I am looking for your best effort.
